Daniel Benmayor extends representation
Director Daniel Benmayor has extended his relationship with Sweetshop and will now also be represented in the US.
Daniel was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. He’s drawn to narratives with strong conceptual foundations and looks for storytelling opportunities that allow for emotional performances. Daniel thrives in finding innovative ways of achieving seamlessly choreographed action in his films.
Daniel began his advertising career as a 1st AD but quickly transitioned into commercial directing at the young age of 23.
Since the beginning of his rapid career, he has worked for clients all over the world, including Adidas, Nike, Mini, Playstation, Coca Cola Group, Pirelli, Lexus, Mercedes, Nissan, Renault, Vodafone, Orange, Samsung, Repsol, Degree and Mastercard.
In addition to his remarkable work in the advertising world, are Daniel’s feature films. He directed Paintball in 2009, which had its worldwide premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2010, he directed Bruc, which was also screened at prestigious film festivals like the London Film Festival, Moscow Film Festival, and many more. His latest feature film Tracers, a contemporary action thriller, was released by Lionsgate, shot entirely in New York, featuring Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner.
Daniel first signed with Sweetshop in 2014 for representation across Asia and MENA.
