He first landed on the international scene after his first short film Vostok Station was nominated at the Sundance Film Festival. ‘The 72 Club’, which he directed for Lifeline as part of a campaign to help Kiwis live long and happy lives, won two Effie effectiveness awards and was described by The Stable as “a powerful video,” with donations to the cause increasing by 400% following its release. His ‘Good Morning World’ film for Tourism New Zealand is the brand’s most effective campaign to date.
